The Truth!!

Visit to St. Mary's Hospital

We were fortunate that we have made it over 5 years without any visits to the ER for Elyse.  Well, that run ended on monday, when we realized that the back of her earring actually was totallly inside her earlobe and we were not sure how it could be removed.  The doctor was shocked that the earring back had totally dissappeared, but then went to work.  He shot up her ear with Lydacane (probably spelled totally wrong...) and was amazed that she only said "ouch" a few times without any tears.  He then opened up the front earring hole with tweezers and "searched" for the earring back.  Finally he got hold of it, and pulled it out, and we were done.  We were even happier to find out that it did not appear to be infected, so after a small dose of antibiotics, we were outta there.  Elyse was such a trooper... she really is our "tough bunny"!!

All that she has to show from her visit is her hospital bracelet and a steri-strip!!

We are now going to leave the idea of putting in new earrings up to her, when she is ready!

I was given the opportunity to teach at a local boutique Cycling Studio, called RIDE.  They have some of the best instuctors, equipment, and location in the area.  Here is a link to the website...

Crossfit Christmas Tree

So, this year Lifeforce Crossfit is putting up a christmas tree and they challenged us to make "crossfit ornaments"...  and this is what I created - and had a great time doing so!!

puke bucket (more of a joke, but I thought it was fun), barbell, and of course the kettelebell...

Santa Baby!

Eventhough the calendar says December, it just doesn't feel like Christmas until you visit with Santa!  We thank our friends, the Haluska family for inviting us again for the "Santa Party".  We had a great time and everyone enjoyed their conversation with Santa!!

Merry Christmas from the Reedell gals!!

Elyse wasn't thrilled about Santa saying " you have to be nice to your sister and listen to your mommy and daddy"....
