We celebrated the girls' day off of school by heading to the Adventure Aquarium - and had a great time.

Nothing better than fall at the shore!
Thanks to the Bartmans' for the use of their beach house. We enjoyed a few beautiful early fall days in OC, NJ after our triathlon. Smiles were constant...
AC Triathlon
Great day for a triathlon in AC. The weather was brisk and we were ready for a 1 mile swim, 20 mile bike, and 10k run. Both Scott and I did great in the race - although becuase I took a "wrong turn" (no thanks to the race director who didn't put good signage out on the course - BOOO) I ended up riding an extra 5 miles, which moved my first place time down to sixth place - double boo. But we both ran some of our best times and overall, had a blast. Don't think we will be doing this race again, because we have our sights on a half ironman for next september... oh yeah!

Painted Dreams Horse Farm
Angela's Daisy troop planned a horse back riding session at the painted dreams horse farm. The girls learned all about horses, how to care for them, what to feed them, and then learned how to ride.

School Days
Welcome back to school!!
Elyse is in afternoon kindergarten, so she is dropped off each day after lunch and LOVES it!!
Hershey Fun
We headed out to Hershey, Pa for some labor day fun! Too bad the rain decided to join us too, but we still managed to fit in a few rollercoaster rides - including a few looping ones with the kiddos. They had soo much and can not wait to go back soon!
Bucks County Duathlon
Another race, and another PR for both Scott and myself. The day was perfect for a race, and everyone went REALLY fast. It was even more fun for me since I won first place in my division and Scott was pleased with his 4th place finish

We didn't get passes this year, but did get a few tickets (thanks to Neshaminy mall :) ) so we went right before school started. We had fun, but are even more thankful we decided to join the swim club!
NAC Kids Triathlon
The girls were very upset when they were not able to participate in the Doylestown Duathlon - because we were on vacation. So, luckily we read about the first annual Newtown Athletic Club Kids Triathlon. We signed the girls up and they did GREAT. Angela did her first unassisted race ever - no floatation device in the pool and no training wheels on the bike. Both finished with HUGE smiles, enjoyed snacks and massages post race, and can't wait till next year's race!!
