not too bad considering we are going away for 8 days and have 4 people!

who need directions

I dug out my "old school legos" from my parents' house and the girls were shocked to see there were "no step by step directions".  We created a hospital, an ambulance, and sign for the hospital.  The girls have been enjoying all of their legos - old and new!

Happy New Year!

visit to Aunt Alison's House

Each year between christmas and new years, we make the treck to Clarks Summit to visit with Aunt Alison, Uncle Bob, Jeremiah, Avery, and Taylor.  This year the trip up was quite eventful since it was snowing like crazy.  We observed a car flipping over, several other accidents, and lots of white knuckles.  But luckily we made it up and back unscathed and had a blast with the family!

We made a trip to Build a Bear workshop, and we decided I needed a new "friend".  We decided on Jake the cat... and they met when we got home.

Disney on Ice

Each year santa brings the girls tickets to Disney on Ice.  The girls got dressed up and enjoyed the show with grandmom by their sides!!

Merry Christmas!!

This is what the girls woke up to....

Christmas at the shore!

On December 23rd we headed to the shore for a few days.  We stayed with Aunt Gerry and her cat Oliver and celebrated christmas with her and visited our favorite places at the shore.  We enjoyed a chilly walk on the beach, went to the Pier, and went shopping at the walk.  It was a great way to celebrate the holiday season with the family!!

Christmas part #1

Each year we get together with Aunt Joanne for an "early christmas" to make it easier on the big day.  This year the girls had extra fun... and were now warmed up for christmas.

Tree #2 is up...

It was great to smell the fabulous christmas tree scent of this years tree.

hot chocolate time with friends

Angela had her friends over (Mackenzie and Sarah) to enjoy some playtime and hot chocolate - super yummy!!

A Gingerbread house... or is it?

So, we decided to do the "traditional" building of a gingerbread house at the Reedell house.   Then I decided to do a "makeover version" and the girls loved it.  Instead of gingerbread, we used graham crackers, peanut butter instead of icing, and pretzels, cranberries, and chocolate chips instead of candy.  It was sooo much fun.... and yummy!!
