Today we honor ALL of the CDH Babies!!

Today has been recognized as National CDH Awareness Day (March 31st)! Today we honor the many children affected by CDH (congenital diaphragmatic hernia) and their families. Just over 5 years ago we found out we would be a part of "this group". We look back and still can't believe what she went through... and now looking at our almost 5 year old, it's amazing.

This year the Cherubs Organization (who provides support and information for familes dealing with CDH) put together a great video of angels and survivors of CDH. Angela is included in this video and is seen around 6:31.

It's hard to believe what all of these children have gone through... and when you look at those smiles, it just melts your heart!!

We appreciate you taking the time to watch the video (be sure your sound is on, the song was made for this particular CDH video) and showing your support of all of our fighters!!!
Here is the link to u-tube to the video... enjoy!!

getting ready for the big bunny to visit....

Whew... March has flown by in a blink of an eye! Hard to believe that next weekend is Easter already! We've been busy gearing up for spring, registering Angela for kindergarten, Elyse for preschool... and of course spending EVERY waking moment outside with our recent nice weather!!
We've had alot of fun lately, but didn't get a chance to do "professional" easter pictures this year. So, this year we "created a studio" in our basement and took our own photos. They turned out pretty well... much less time and MUCH cheaper....
Hope you enjoy the photos and happy easter - a bit early!!

Welcome to the New and Improved Please Touch Museum

Well, it's been in it's new location for over a year now, but we got to see it for the first time today! We went with Jen and Gianna Gross and Kelley and Liam Turner... and had a GREAT day! We all piled into the new car (which was VERY nice and the kids LOVED sitting ALL the way in the back) and off to Philly we went. We got there and the place was pretty empty. The kids played in the buses, monorails, did crafts, played in water, rode the carousel, ate lunch, checked out the "hospital", McDonalds, the grocery store, the shoe store... and sooo much fun!! They really had a GREAT time... thanks for a great day with great friends!
